Yoga Instructor Stephanie

Studio Manager and Yoga Instructor Stephanie
When Stephanie first started doing yoga, she saw it as just another form of exercise for her to lose weight and chose to start with the Ashtanga Vinyasa classes, which were intense and pumped up the cardio. Yoga soon became her passion, and yoga philosophy became her way of life, teaching her to overcome some of the challenges life brings.
She decided to pursue her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, thereafter the 100-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training and continuously upgrades herself in various yoga-related workshops. She practises faithfully for three to six days a week over the past six years and progressed from a total beginner to a passionate yoga teacher who yearns to share the benefits of yoga with others.
Before switching to her career in Yoga, she taught in primary schools (MOE) for 15 years. She was honoured the Outstanding Contribution Award (2020), Caring Teacher Award (2012, 2014 & 2016) and handheld numerous trainee teachers. Her rich teaching experience ensures full engagement in her Yoga class with effective delivery and good rapport with students.
Stephanie offers practices that focus on leading movements with the breath and engaging muscles to reduce risks of injury. Through her yoga journey, she believes that there are no boundaries on the mat and anyone can do yoga, regardless of body type, age or gender. With appropriate modifications and consistency in practice, anyone can enjoy the benefits yoga brings to our minds, bodies and souls.
