Professional Background
With over 14 years of experience as an MOE educator, Stephanie brings strong pedagogical grounding into her wellness facilitation. She has served as a teacher mentor within MOE, supporting trainee teachers, beginning teachers and experienced educators. This background informs her clear, structured and nurturing teaching style, with a strong emphasis on safety, inclusivity and progressive learning.
With a strong foundation in music (Grade 8 Piano and GCE O’Level Music) and experience teaching music as a subject, Stephanie brings a heightened awareness and sensitivity towards sound, rhythm and tone quality into her sound bath facilitation. This musical foundation supports her intuitive approach to creating harmonious and soothing soundscapes that are attuned to the needs of individuals and groups.
Teaching Philosophy
Stephanie believes that there are no boundaries on the yoga mat. Yoga embraces individuals of all backgrounds and abilities. With appropriate modifications, mindful guidance and consistency in practice, anyone can experience the benefits yoga brings to the mind, body and soul. Her approach is grounded in compassion, accessibility and safety, supporting each student’s unique journey.
Yoga Journey
Stephanie began her yoga journey as a way to support weight management and gradually fell in love with the practice. Over time, she experienced how each yoga session brought clarity to the mind and a sense of freshness after practice. This led her to explore yoga philosophy and integrate yogic principles into daily life, shifting her own mindset and supporting positive change in others.
Her journey evolved from teaching group yoga classes to mentoring and guiding aspiring yoga teachers. Supporting others on their teaching path has become deeply meaningful and impactful for her, aligning with her identity as both an educator and wellness facilitator.
